This role is with the ARRISE group powering Pragmatic Play.

 HR is undergoing an evolution as the business is scaling at speed. The team is developing to enable the delivery of the business Vision ‘to be the world’s favorite developer’.    

 As part of this evolution, we are now looking for a HR Manager in Romania, playing a key role enabling the operation to achieve its goals and ambitions. They will work very closely with the leadership and wider operations team. A key aspect of the role will be supporting the business continually to upskill is people management and leadership capabilities to drive engagement and performance.

What you will be doing:    

  • Oversee the entire payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
  • Stay updated with the latest tax laws and ensure deductions are accurate. Manage all HR-related documentation in the hiring process.
  • Ensure all employee records are up-to-date and securely stored.
  • Analyze attendance data to identify patterns and address any concerns.
  • Coordinate with department heads to manage leave requests and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Enforce a clear code of conduct tailored to the online casino environment. Handle any violations professionally, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to company policies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on HR performance, including turnover rates, recruitment efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.

What makes you a strong candidate:    

  • Previous experience as HR Manager in a fast-growing dynamic environment;
  • Experience in the gambling, retail or BPO sector is useful.
  • Readiness to work in a start-up environment and proactively contribute to creating a trusted working place with good people practices;
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret and suggest solutions depending on observed and analyzed trends.
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Romanian.
