Facility Manager

The Facility Manager holds a critical position within an organization, tasked with ensuring that the physical environment of the workplace is safe, efficient, and conducive to productivity. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities that include overseeing security measures, maintenance activities, and various support services essential for the smooth operation of work facilities.


  • Overseeing building and grounds maintenance.
  • Ensuring emergency preparedness procedures and their proper implementation.
  • Supervising the quality of work for other employees to ensure tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Recommending maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
  • Communicating workplace safety precautions to employees.
  • Managing budgets and advising on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Managing contracts and relationships with third-party service providers.
  • Drafting reports and making written recommendations based on analysis and forecasting.
  • Inspecting business areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
  • Ensuring facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards.


  • Proficient in computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Analytical ability for solving complex problems with creativity and judgment.
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills; self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • University diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
